This method allows you to easily browse (e.g. view, watch, stream, download) your iOS files and folders (including subfolders) from your other devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, etc.) without uploading to cloud services or using cables or installing software/drivers on these devices.
1. Connect both devices to the same Wifi network.
2. On iOS, download PocketServer from the App Store.
Open PocketServer, tap on Folder Sharing and select the folder you want to share.
3. On Windows/Linux/Android, use a browser to access the shared folder.
The browser doesn't have to be Chrome, any modern browser can be used (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, etc.), no driver/extension needed.
Since it doesn't require any syncing or uploading, the shared folder is almost instantly available to your Windows/Linux/Android device.
Streaming/download speed depends on how well your iPhone handles HTTP connections through your router. On my iPhone SE 2020, it's about 30 MB/s.
